You are cordially invited to spend two unforgettable days exploring New York City with me! Attend two concerts, share meals and conversations, walk the neighborhoods that shaped our music, and discover how Afro-Peruvian jazz offers a fresh perspective on culture, democracy, and community..

Meals are always part of the vibe, so we will family-style a couple of meals without any backstage barriers-just conversation, stories and ideas.

Take part in 'Inside the Music,' an intimate learning session exploring El Muki, Afro-Peruvian rhythm, improvisation, and why jazz remains a model for dialogue and democracy. No musical background required.

Explore the East Village and South Brooklyn through the eyes of working musicians whose artistic lives have been shaped by these neighborhoods.

Hear the Sextet in two very unique venues—Nublu in the East Village and LunÀtico in Brooklyn—each bringing a distinct atmosphere and energy to the music.
This isn't intended to be a one-time event.
My hope is that Inside the Music becomes an ongoing series of intimate gatherings in cities that have shaped the story of our band.
New York feels like the only place to begin.
For fifteen years this city was my home.
Some of the Sextet's most important musical ideas were born here, and many of our closest friendships began around these streets, clubs, cafés, and conversations.

Most VIP experiences promise better seats, earlier entry, or exclusive merchandise. Those things have their place.
But this is much more interesting than that.
What interests me is conversation: Curiosity,
Long meals, walking through neighborhoods that have shaped a lifetime of music, listening with intention,
and asking questions that don't fit into a post-concert meet-and-greet.
That's why this weekend is limited to small group of participants.
Not because smaller sounds exclusive, because smaller allows something larger to happen: Real human connection!
If this feels like an experience you’d like to be part of, the next page has everything you need: what’s included, the investment, and how to reserve your place.
I’d be honored by the pleasure of your company in New York City!

I hope you'll be there when the story starts.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
Warmly,

Gabriel Alegría
